Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Provides financial support to venues. Maintains standard financial reports and guides management in the development of annual budgets. Supervises and provides work direction to Cost Analyst.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracks costs researches financial variances provides explanations and recommends solutions to management.
  • Prepares cost estimates and analyses for special projects and makes recommendations regarding operational decisions relative to those projects.
  • Executes month-end close journal entries processes and balances sheet account reconciliations within required deadlines.
  • Prepares financial reports that both summarize and detail the performance of venues.
  • Guides the operating division management in the development of annual operating budgets.
  • Supervises Cost Analyst by providing leadership coaching mentoring career development and performance management. Ensures Cost Analyst is meeting all objectives and accountabilities.
  • Performs job responsibilities as well as other duties as assigned within multiple systems (GL POS Budget Purchasing Inventory etc.).
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or Business required.

CERTIFICATIONS LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:

  • CPA Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of cost accounting financial analysis or business experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
