Job Summary

Description

Assists in the supervision of an anesthesia tech work group whom provide services in the ORs and procedure areas. May be assigned duties from the Supervisor including but not limited to policy enforcement corrective action performance appraisals payroll emulation etc. Responsible for directing day to day workflow. Performs Anesthesia Tech duties as described in the Anesthesia Tech job description.



Qualifications

High school diploma/ GED required. 2-3 years of anesthesia tech sterile processing technician perioperative services tech or similar role experience preferred. Excellent organizational interpersonal and written and oral communication skills are required.
Surgical Inventory Management System (SIMS) and Lawson ordering experience preferred. Experience with direct patient care CNA or PCA preferred. Knowledge of reprocessing principles quality assurance inventory control and continuous performance improvement concepts is preferred. American Heart Association BLS Certified.
