Job Summary
Minuteman High School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The assistant coach will support the head coach leading student-athletes in practices competitions and related activities while promoting teamwork school pride motivation and skill development.Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Volleyball plays and techniques.
- Coordinate the teams practice schedule and attend all practices and games.
- Prepare the team for games and function as a liaison with other coaches.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment promoting team spirit and unity.
- Mentor and motivate athletes providing guidance feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Work with school administration to ensure compliance with all necessary requirements and regulations including safety and liability issues.
- Communicate with parents and coordinate team events and fundraising activities.
- Experience as a Volleyball player or coach.
- Strong knowledge of Volleyball techniques and plays.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
- Organizational and management skills including the ability to schedule and plan practices and events.
- Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for Volleyball activities.
- Dedication to promoting a positive team spirit and inclusive environment for all team members.
- This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.
- Stipend Position.
- This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
- The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.
- Athletic Director.
- The total annual stipend for this position is $1654.
