Job Summary

Minuteman High School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The assistant coach will support the head coach leading student-athletes in practices competitions and related activities while promoting teamwork school pride motivation and skill development.Major Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Volleyball plays and techniques.
Coordinate the teams practice schedule and attend all practices and games.
Prepare the team for games and function as a liaison with other coaches.
Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive team environment promoting team spirit and unity.
Mentor and motivate athletes providing guidance feedback and support to help them achieve their goals.
Work with school administration to ensure compliance with all necessary requirements and regulations including safety and liability issues.
Communicate with parents and coordinate team events and fundraising activities.

Qualifications:

Experience as a Volleyball player or coach.
Strong knowledge of Volleyball techniques and plays.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their goals.
Organizational and management skills including the ability to schedule and plan practices and events.
Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for Volleyball activities.
Dedication to promoting a positive team spirit and inclusive environment for all team members.

Additional Requirements:

This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public walking around the school standing for periods occasionally lifting and carrying items reading documents using a computer listening and speaking using office equipment maintaining energy throughout the day and handling stress effectively.

Terms of Employment:

Stipend Position.

Effective Dates of Employment:

This is a stipend position for the 2026-2027 school year.
The person who fills this position will be the contact for any relevant and important information prior to the start of the school year.

Athletic Director.

Compensation:

The total annual stipend for this position is $1654.

Required Experience:

Junior IC
