About the role
In this role you will collaborate with colleagues and partners to enhance and expedite the Business Group MOS design pipelines across Japan. Additionally you will provide expert technical support develop strong relationships with design engineers and contribute to marketing initiatives to increase Nexperias visibility in the market.
What you will do
Work with existing colleagues (Account Managers Business Development FAEs) plus distributors & Sales Reps as appropriate to increase and accelerate Business Group MOS design pipelines in Japan
Be an expert on relevant BG MOS products & roadmaps
Provide tier 2 technical support & training
Develop trusted relationships with design engineers directly and through intermediaries
Highlight customer requirements relating to BG MOS product families; feedback on white-spot / roadmap requests and NPI opportunities; draw attention to competitor activity in the region
Identify emerging applications & highlight prospective rising star customers
Support Marketing initiatives and represent Nexperia / BG MOS seeking speaker opportunities to increase our visibility in the market
Promote and utilise Nexperias Advanced Support Tools including models evaluation systems technical documentation etc.
Create engineering design assistance materials including application schematics/demo boards/simulations
Contribute technical content to drive Awareness Interest Desire Action (AIDA) within the design engineering communities of our customers & prospects
What you will need
Masters Degree or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline
3 years of experience in power electronics applications e.g. AC & DC Power Conversion motor control battery management energy storage etc.
Familiarity with electronic product design processes including component selection & qualification.
Experience in MOSFETs and related technologies is a distinct advantage
Excellent communication influencing and relationship-building skills
Highly self-motivated and results-driven; continuous improvement mentality; team player
Willingness to travel up to 50%
High standard of written & spoken English
Familiarity with prominent ECAD systems and simulation tools is an advantage
Experience in automotive industrial and commercial applications
