As a Business Analyst at SITO the consultant plays a key role in the digital transformation of the Assets department. Client has set out strong improvements in efficiency and addition we must support the energy transition the increase in renewable energy and the nuclear phase-out. The Assets department is mainly responsible for the maintenance of the high-voltage electrical grid and the commissioning of grid expansions. Safety quality and efficiency are our core values.
The business analyst is responsible for setting up efficient business addition you capture the business needs and translate them into specifications for IT systems. You will bridge the gap between the business and the users on the one hand and the various IT partners (functional analyst project leader architect etc.) on the other challenging all parties. The goal is to develop and maintain the necessary IT tools to support the business processes optimally and pragmatically.
We are looking for a business analyst to support our digitalization projects:
- Optimizing our asset record systems for the efficient management and provision of the asset records.
- The central management of the asset records combined with their electrical function within an electrical system model (CIM-compliant)
- Both products fit within the strategy to make our data available to all our stakeholders in a central and uniform way.
Specifically the tasks include:
- Modeling the business processes and guiding the business in redesigning their processes.
- Identifying the business needs and translating them into supported business requirements in the form of epics / features / user stories.
- Challenging the business with regard to their needs and the to-be processes.
- Developing the necessary business information models: these describe the information needed to realize the various requirements (e.g. interfaces screens reports migration etc.).
- Coordinating and validating requirements between/by the business and IT.
- Validating the functional analysis of IT.
- After the implementation of a tool: testing and validating the releases including support in UAT.
- Playing an active role in the change including drafting training materials and providing training (to the end users) according to the existing change management methodology and supported by the change management toolkit.
- Supporting the business in the use of the IT tools during the post-implementation
Additional requirements:
- A good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English is required.
- Master in technical direction or equivalent through experience.
- At least 7 to 10 years of relevant experienceas a business analyst in identifying needs drafting business requirements and drafting business processes.
- Strong analytical skills and you are sufficiently critical. You dare to challenge.
- Good communication skills both spoken and written.
- Working independently and in a team. You are able to work out a consensus and convince the various stakeholders.
- Skilled in planning and organization.
- A large dose of customer focus and flexibility.
- Knowledge of BPMN2.0 and UML Class diagram.
- Experience using the tools EA (Enterprise Architect) DevOps is a plus.
- Experience within the electricity sector offers added value.
- Experience with the CIM standard (IEC61970-IEC61968-IEC62325) is a plus.
- Experience with asset reference systems is a plus.
