Public Health Officer 12 months fixed term contract
Job Summary
This is fixed term post for one year covering maternity leave and is open to internal candidates as a secondment opportunity aswell as external candidates.
- Experience of supporting or delivering public health projects
- Understanding of core health protection priorities such as immunisations outbreak response and reducing health inequalities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of partners including NHS local authority and voluntary or community sector organisations.
- Strong organisational skills with experience of coordinating meetings managing actions and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences.
- Ability to work independently manage competing priorities and contribute effectively as part of a team.
