Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Works on multiple concurrent initiatives in order to provide significant value through increased efficiency or incremental revenue.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs and applies quantitative methods to operational problem sets and challenges; applies objective structured analytic techniques to a range of complex scenarios; summarizes and analyzes multi-source data (structured and unstructured) as part of the analytic process.
Analyzes operations and workflow to improve process efficiencies in operations; establishes methods for maximum utilization of facilities and personnel. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control cost reduction inventory control sales processes revenue opportunities and service processes and systems.
Tests and implements new products revenue management strategies and/or sales techniques. Tests products price and demand sensitivity makes recommendations and implements change to optimize profitability. Establishes baseline historical performance seasonality transaction volume revenue penetration per capita pricing etc. Monitors ongoing performance and establishes key performance tracking metrics.
Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy procedures training and Team Member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
Masters degree is preferred (Master of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering Operations Research Management Science or equivalent).

EXPERIENCE:

5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or in a related area required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
