The intern will collaborate with internal stakeholders conduct research analyze information and help develop policy recommendations gaining exposure to strategic initiatives and the policymaking process while also supporting the HR operations team with key day to day YOULL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIESHR Support 50%:Provide administrative support to the HR Director and HR Business Partner the HR inbox by triaging requests and responding to general employee inquiries. Draft employment-related letters (employment verification contract extensions compensation changes and other letters as required).Process Ivanti ticket update and validate data on the weekly HR invoices and maintain ongoing budget contractor data support onboarding and offboarding processes and creation of personnel files. Support the full recruitment cycle by posting jobs scheduling interviews preparing offer letters and completing onboarding documentation and personnel file in planning and coordinating internshiprelated support on various adhoc projects as 50%:Support the planning execution and evaluation of policy policy-related meetings stakeholder engagement and project thorough research on relevant policy issues including legislative proposals regulatory frameworks and best and revise HR policies and policy-related meetings stakeholder engagement and project with team members to brainstorm innovative policy solutions and legislative developments government initiatives and public consultations at the federal provincial and territorial research and support initiatives on pension-related YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCECurrently enrolled in a bachelors program in Human Resources business administration or a related experience in human resources or relevant internships is a and willingness to learn about HR operations policy development and research analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate key insights research abilities including proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research -oriented approach with a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools/software is & ACCOMMODATIONSOCAN is committed to providing an inclusive workplace environment that meets the accessibility needs of employees with disabilities.
