ABOUT THE ROLE

The Global HR Policy Compensation and Compliance Manager is responsible for managing and implementing Dalbergs HR Ethics and Compliance practices across its global operations. This part-time role leads to the design and continuous improvement of global HR Ethics and Compliance policies ensures alignment with international and local laws. The role also supports core HR functions related to the Global Shared Services team including managing compensation band implementation and supporting recruiting efforts as required.

Key Decisions:

  • Implements the overarching framework and standards for global HR policy development.
  • Determines appropriate updates to compliance-related policies based on changes in international labor law and regulatory context.
  • Decides on training content and delivery approach for HR compliance education.
  • Calculates and validates annual bonus provisions for global shared services staff based on approved parameters.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AND HOW YOU WILL GROW

Management of Global HR Ethics Compliance Policy Framework

  • Manage the global HR Ethics and policies framework
  • Develop and maintain a central repository of policies ensuring ease of access and consistent communication across regions including planning access restrictions.
  • Design and coordinate the rollout of these global policies to staff ensuring strong uptake and awareness
  • Stay abreast of global HR ethics compliance and other best practices and emerging trends ensuring the organizations policies reflect current standards.
  • Manage a policy update schedule and conduct regular reviews and updates to policies to:
    • Benchmark internal policies against international norms and industry standards to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Maintain relevance with changing legal and regulatory landscapes.
    • Identify and mitigate compliance risks by conducting audits and assessments and recommend corrective actions.
    • Identify other gaps or inconsistencies in policies and drive efforts to address them.

Recruitment and Compensation Management

  • Set and maintain policies and processes to guide recruitment of operations staff both in local operations team and in the Global Shared Services team
  • Oversee the recruitment support team setting priorities and monitoring progress across active searches
  • Ensure end-to-end recruitment process runs smoothly with well-coordinated searches screening and hiring workflows delivered to a high standard
  • Help manage the implementation of compensation bands for Global Shared Services staff and ensure they remain in line with our global and regional policies
  • Support the leadership team in updating compensation bands as a result of promotions salary increments approved etc.
  • Lead on process of calculating annual bonus provisions for global shared services staff

Policy related training and support

  • Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance to leadership and regional teams on compliance ethical practices and policy interpretation.
  • Develop and deliver engaging training programs to educate employees and managers on HR Ethics and compliance requirements.
  • Act as a point of escalation for policy-related concerns or issues.
  • Prepare periodic reports for senior management highlighting compliance risks policy effectiveness and recommendations for improvement.
  • Support cross-functional teams with policy-related expertise during internal reviews or organizational changes.

Operate Dalbergs Reporting system

  • Oversee and manage Dalbergs Speak Up Reporting Escalation Triage Investigation and Close out system ensuring a well-functioning system for cases to get raised by staff. Includes managing our third-party Whistleblower platform.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Human Resources or a related field
  • Masters degree (MBA/HR) preferred
  • Professional HR certifications (e.g. SHRM-CP/SCP SPHR/GPHR or similar) are a strong plus

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR policy development compliance or a related role in a global or multinational organization
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment and compensation management is preferred

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of international labor laws HR compliance frameworks global ethics standards and best practices.
  • Proven expertise in developing frameworks and standards for organizational policy management.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a part-time capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and educate diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex cultural dynamics and build consensus across teams and geographies.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms compliance management systems and policy documentation tools.
