Location: Syracuse NY
Shift: Day Shift 3x12s (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Compensation
Gross Weekly Pay: $1867
W2 Rate: $18/hour
Weekly Stipend: $1246
Position Summary
A reputable acute care facility in Syracuse NY is seeking an experienced LVN / LPN Medical Surgical for a 13-week contract assignment. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician in a fast-paced inpatient Med/Surg environment.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills effective communication and the ability to adapt to dynamic patient care needs.
Responsibilities
Provide bedside nursing care to medical-surgical patients
Monitor and record vital signs and patient assessments
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Assist with daily living activities and patient mobility
Collaborate with RNs physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Accurately document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and safety standards
Requirements
Active New York State LPN license (required)
Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience (inpatient preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
