Are you ready to lead the development and delivery of systems and operations strategy for one of the UKs most ambitious water infrastructure programmes We are seeking a Strategic Systems and Interface Manager to join our Programme Solutions team guiding the successful delivery of the Fens and Lincolnshire Reservoirs projects.

About the Role

This pivotal role will shape the definition and communication of external and internal system interfaces ensuring a holistic approach to project objectives and supporting the development of specifications and risk allocation. Youll collaborate with sponsors internal teams and a wide range of external stakeholdersincluding regulatory bodies and water companiesto ensure project requirements are defined allocated and fulfilled.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Systems Operation Strategy: Lead the planning design and implementation of robust asset systems and operational modes integrating with broader project strategies. Establish key contractual system requirements and ensure effective integration with existing assets.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Anglian Water Cambridge Water Environment Agency and supply chain partners.
  • Client Technical Support: Mobilise subject matter expertise to respond to programme queries asset standard deviations and technical requests. Ensure responses are proportionate consistent and justifiable supporting DCO delivery and commercial procurement.
  • System and Operation Delivery: Oversee scoping and delivery of task orders with progress monitoring and liaison with engineering and programme management teams.
  • Health Safety & Wellbeing: Drive a culture of continuous improvement ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining a zero-accident culture.

What Were Looking

  • Experience working with complex systems ideally in the water industry
  • Knowledge of raw and potable water operations
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically with a technical mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong IT and project management skills
  • Commercial and industry sector awareness
  • Knowledge of control systems
