About the role
This is a Floating Support Worker role based in the community and out of the drop-in centre in the Vale. The service provides support to anyone who requires immediate support around housing debt and homelessness prevention. We also offer engagement support where we organise community event to give people opportunities to connect build confidence and access resources to improve their wellbeing and independence.
As a Floating Support Worker you will provide housing related support to assist with the prevention of homelessness. You will offer support around budgeting rent arrears accessing grants accessing future housing and tenancy set ups. You will encourage customers to deal with issues that may threaten their progression especially with matters relating behaviour substance misuse health wellbeing budgeting benefits and household management.
