Your key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a distributed technical team ensuring alignment with global engineering standards and highquality delivery.
- Integrate newly hired engineers into existing UScentric teams and workflows including daily routines communication practices and timezone coordination.
- Establish and enhance delivery predictability engineering quality operational excellence and crossregion collaboration from day one.
- Navigate the early phase of the Brazil GDC initiative by contributing to process definition job leveling onboarding hiring and team expansion.
- Build local culture by promoting ownership transparency collaboration and technical maturity.
- Support onboarding of new engineers while also completing your own integration into EMS.
- Provide technical direction across multiple disciplines (Software Engineering DevOps SRE Security) and participate in architectural discussions.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Engineering Product Architecture Security and Service Delivery as well as Brazil HR/TA.
- Ensure clarity accountability and continuous team evolution through metrics best practices and modern engineering standards.
Qualifications :

- Strong foundation in modern engineering practices including:
- CI/CD
- Testing
- Observability
- Architectural decisionmaking
- Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams (Software Engineering DevOps SRE Security).
- Knowledge of agile principles architecture and security standards and compliance practices.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global environment with strong collaboration across USbased stakeholders.
- Clear communication adaptability and the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Modern engineering practices (CI/CD quality observability architecture).
- Leadership of distributed teams.
- Multidisciplinary technical guidance (SE DevOps SRE Security).
- Advanced English and availability to work hybrid in São Carlos/SP.
Nice to have
- Experience with organizational scaling and distributed team leadership;
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning or budget ownership in technical areas;
- Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones;
- Strong background in platform reliability security or architecture governance.
