Amazon and MX Player recently joined forces to accelerate premium free entertainment for 250 million users in India. With this acquisition Amazon merged two of Indias most popular free AVOD (or ad-supported video on demand) services MX Player and Amazon miniTV into one service - Amazon MX Player. We seek engineers who can help us shape and build Amazon MX Player.
You can read about the service here: successful Quality Assurance Engineer will be obsessed with quality improvement experienced and highly committed to creating world class automation for regression and feature testing able to develop and drive a high-level test strategy as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy. He / She will leverage AI to scale quality testing and drive stronger outcomes.
In this role you will:
- Work with business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements
- Understand how all elements of the system software ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
- Be responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses
- Oversee the development and execution of test plans and monitoring and reporting on test execution
- Work with a team of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product delivery
- 2 years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience reviewing appropriate quality plans test strategies and interacting with QA for testing activities
- Experience testing Web/Android/iOS technologies and back-end services
- Experience designing and planning test conditions test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control
- Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals
- Experience testing Ads technologies
