The Home Health Aide provides patient care based on a written plan and instructions of the Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist in the event that nursing is not required in the care of the patient. The Home Health Aide provides personal care simple procedures as an extension of therapy services ambulation exercise household and shopping services essential to the health care of the patient at home. The Home Health Aide reports to the Home Care Clinical Manager and is supervised in each case by the Registered Nurse or Physical Therapist assigned to the case.
Qualifications :
What is required...
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of recent experience as a nursing assistant in a Medical/Surgical Unit or long-term care facility
- Basic Nursing Assistant class; current Washington State NAC license
- Current CPR card (maintenance required)
- Must have a current Washington State drivers license
- Must have automobile liability insurance
- Must have access to a reliable car for transportation to patient homes
Additional Information :
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $19.43/hour and goes up to $29.45/hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience. This position may qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.
