- Role: Certified Med Technician responsible for resident health safety and well-being
- Care Duties: Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
- Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications (oral eye ear nasal rectal topical)
- Safety Protocols: Follow a strict 3-step checkconfirm resident medication and correct dosage/route/time
- Compliance: Adhere to medication labeling requirements and all care standards
- Standards: Maintain high levels of accuracy safety and professionalism at all times
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required
- Completion and certification of a recognized Medication Administration course.
- 1 year experience or training preferably working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry
- A comprehensive pre-employment background check is mandatory and will be conducted prior to employment.
