Job Summary

International Marine Service Engineer

About the job

You are responsible to perform maintenance and commissioning services on board of ships.

Follow safety procedures and report unsafe practices & incidents.
Show deep product knowledge of the key product line(s).
Prepare the service job for efficient execution based on the SOP of the job.
Travel to service jobs on board vessels including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed.
Execute maintenance repair advanced troubleshooting commissioning or other services.
Document work and conclusions while on board and get service report signed by the customer.
Identify potential improvements incl. sales leads give advice to customer and pass information on to own organization. Give input on SOP improvements.
Provide formal training to peers and customers; assist in developing of training material and content.

Further you have:

Technical MBO or Bachelor degree with mechanical/electrical knowledge.
Basic knowledge of PLC techniques process- measuring- and control technology;
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
