About the Role
As the Regional Distribution Director you will serve as a pivotal leader within our sales organization driving the strategic direction and execution of our distribution sales channel. You will be responsible forhiring andleading a high-performing team to exceed growth targets secure design wins and expand the market presence.
This is a high-impact leadership position that requires a blend of technical expertise in semiconductors entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships across the regionand all levels of authorized distributors.
What You Will Do
Sales Leadership & Strategic Execution
- Target Achievement:Take full ownership of quarterly and yearly distribution sales targets ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds objectives.
- Strategic Alignment:Direct the efforts of the Distribution Sales Team to align with broader strategic objectives and drive Design Win successes.
- Business Planning:Lead the development of comprehensive Customer Business Plans clearly defining expectations and requirements to secure long-term growth.
- Opportunity Identification:Collaborate with stakeholders to identify new applications and focus areas where our solutions can provide a competitive edge.
Team Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- High-Performance Culture:Responsible for the staffing coaching and maintenance of a highly engaged top-tier sales team.
- Relationship Management:Map formal and informal hierarchies at key accounts to identify decision-makers and develop relationship strategies that improve our market position.
- Communication:Effectively communicate financial and strategic direction to all internal and external stakeholders.
- Escalation Management:Act as the primary point for managing and resolving high-level escalations directed to the leadership team.
- Cross-functional coordination: Ability to align winning strategies with respective internal business group commercial leaderships.
What You Will Need
Experience & Education
- Industry Expertise:A minimum of 10 years of sales experiencespecifically within the Semiconductor industry.
- Proven Leadership:At least 5 years of experience leading cross-functional teamswith a track record of driving performance.
- Academic Background:University degree in Electrical Engineeringor relavant.
- Market Knowledge:In-depth understanding of the regional semiconductor market including reference design influence and transnational account management.
Technical & Hard Skills
- Product Knowledge:Strong technical understanding of Discrete Semiconductors including MOSFETs ESD protection and LOGIC.
- Digital Proficiency:Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excelfor data analysis and PowerPointfor executive presentations.
Soft Skills & Competencies
- Strategic Execution:The ability to execute complex strategies involving multiple stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset:A result-oriented customer-focused approach that treats the region as a business.
- Communication & Negotiation:Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to negotiate effectively at all levels of an organization.
- Winning Mentality:A team player who embraces responsibility meets strict deadlines and thrives in a high-growth environment.
