Key Duties and Responsibilities

Guest Interaction:Welcoming guests upon arrival seating them and presenting menus.
Order Management:Taking food and beverage orders accurately noting special dietary needs or allergies and relaying them to the kitchen or bar.
Menu Expertise:Memorizing the menu to answer questions explain daily specials and provide recommendations or wine pairings.
Service Delivery:Serving meals and beverages promptly checking in on guests during their meal and refilling drinks.
Payment Processing:Calculating bills processing cash or credit card transactions via Point of Sale (POS) systems and handling checks.
Sidework & Maintenance:Cleaning and resetting tables restocking server stations (napkins cutlery condiments) and assisting with opening/closing duties.
