Market Developer
Jerith Manufacturing part of the Assa Abloy Perimeter Security Group an industry leader in aluminum and high security fencing products is looking for an individual to cover Florida. This professional will make sales calls to industry leaders including distribution channel partners fencing contractors project managers and architects as well as other entities that are engaged in the perimeter security industry.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with fence contractors to promote the Jerith product portfolio.
- Build and maintain solid working relationships with the inside sales team and managers.
- Continually update customer profiles within CRM Software
- Understand each customers business model and geographical coverage
- Track top fence contractors by classification and market segment.
- Execute product presentations to architects and specifiers who are relevant to the industry.
- Professionally supports local distribution partners.
- Address customer problems/issues in a professional and timely manner with integrity.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory up to 30% overnight and to industry events and corporate meetings as needed. (< 10% annually)
The skills and experience you need:
Education:
- Bachelors degree preferred or relevant outside sales experience.
Experience:
- Successful outside sales and territory management experience.
- Experience in calling on distributors contractors and architects.
- Comfortable calling on jobsites and construction projects.
Other:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and be able to work in the USA.
