Job Summary
Ford Lincoln of Lafayette is seeking an experiencedAutomotive Main Line Technicianto join our growing service team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong background in Automotive diagnostics repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
- Ford or Lincoln experience is preferred but technicians with experience in other OEM brands are encouraged to apply

Main Line Automotive Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics maintenance and complex mechanical repairs on vehicles
- Accurately complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
- Conduct test drives to verify repairs and ensure vehicle performance
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding diagnostics repairs and timelines
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Stay current with factory training and certifications to maintain technical proficiency
Main Line Automotive Technician Qualifications:
- 2 years of automotive repair experience required
- Ford or Lincoln certification preferred (other OEM experience considered)
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and repair manuals
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
