Responsibilities
- Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Ensure database performance scalability high availability and disaster recovery across environments deployed on bare-metal servers and virtual machines
- Implement and manage replication сhains partitioning / sharding backups
- Assist development teams in creating optimizing and problem solving with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
- Troubleshooting
- Drive automation using Terraform Puppet and custom tooling for infrastructure and database lifecycle management
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5 years of experience as a Database Administrator
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science Technology or a related field of study
- Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
- Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL DML DCL)
- Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
- Proficiency in Linux
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- English language proficiency at B2 level or higher
Nice to Have:
- Experience in scripting automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform Puppet Bash/Python)
- Team management experience
- Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog Prometheus Grafana or Zabbix
