This role is 1-2 days per week negotiable with thesuccessful candidate with an hourly rate of $36.67 per hour equating to$72460 annually (pro rata) plus superannuation and access to Salary Packaging.
The Position
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for the contentcreation execution and coordination of social media activity across HousingFirstowned channels.
Working within the Marketing and Communications Teamand enabling the Social Media Strategy this role supports the delivery of theannual content schedule and community engagement.
The role focuses on implementing content schedulingposts monitoring activity coordinating approvals and maintaining day-to-dayplatform activity. It works closely with internal stakeholders and externalsuppliers to raise HousingFirsts profile through consistent and timely deliveryof activity.
Responsibilities
Plan develop and maintain an ongoing socialmedia content calendar to support the organisations social media strategy andensure consistent timely delivery of content across all platforms.
Create coordinate and publish social mediacontent including video and animated materials in line with approvedmessaging brand guidelines and platform requirements.
Implement approved strategies to supportaudience growth and engagement across existing and emerging social mediaplatforms and communities.
Undertake daytoday social media monitoringmoderation and community management including responding to enquiriescomments and complaints in accordance with policy and escalation procedures.
Monitor social media performance and prepareregular reports against agreed key performance indicators to inform continuousimprovement.
Attend internal and external events primarilywithin Melbourne to capture and coordinate social media content withflexibility to attend events outside standard working days where required.
Maintain contemporary knowledge of social mediaplatforms trends and best practice to support effective delivery ofresponsibilities

As our ideal candidate you will have:
Desire to be part of a values driven andcommunity focussed organisation
A degree in marketing communications or a related field is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in social media contentplanning and delivery ideally in the not-for-profit space covering socialissues
Strong technical knowledge in content creationincluding video and animation
Experience supporting audience growth andengagement
Community management judgement and issuehandling experience
Strong stakeholder engagement and collaborationskills
Sound professional judgement and ability to workwith moderate supervision
