OVERVIEW
At Alo the HR Intern is a student or recent graduate responsible for supporting the Human Resources team with day-to-day administrative and operational initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR functionsincluding onboardingand HR operations. The intern will collaborate closely with the HR team while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced people-focused corporate environment.
The 8-week Alo internship program starts June 8th and ends July 31st. Interns will be working40 hoursa week at our Beverly Hills HQ.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assistwith onboarding coordination including new hire paperwork orientation preparation and employee file management
- Maintainaccurateand organized employee records in HR systems and shared drives
- Assist with HR reporting and data entry related to headcount turnover and other people metrics
- Help prepare HR documents such as offer letters employment verification letters and policy acknowledgments
- Conduct research on HR best practices and support ongoing HR projects and process improvements
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or related degree program
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or People Operations
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace
- Previousinternship or campus leadership experience is a plus but notrequired
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills witha high levelof professionalism
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contributeina team-oriented environment
- Comfort working with data and HR systems
The compensation for this position is $25 per hour.
