Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is a private not-for-profit community health care provider governed by a community-based board of trustees. Since its founding in 1973 the original 59-bed short-stay hospital has grown into a comprehensive acute care medical center with 226 licensed beds. We specialize in womens and childrens services surgery cardiology oncology orthopedics gerontology psychiatry emergency services and community health June 1998 Howard County General Hospital joined Johns Hopkins June 2023 the hospital was renamed Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center.

The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy services for inpatients and/or outpatients to restore function prevent disability following disease injury or loss of a body part improve wound healing and assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum possible level of functioning to assume a place in society while learning to live within the limits of their disability.

  • Two (2) or more years experience in Physical Therapy preferred.
  • Experience in Wound Care required.
  • Licensure/Certifications:

    • Current or temporary license as a Physical Therapist in the State of Maryland.
    • Current CPR certification required.

    Salary Range: Minimum $55.00/hour - Maximum $55.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
