Information specific to this position:
Camp SOL:Camp SOL (Summer of Learning) is a summer bridge program designed to support students who need additional assistance in Literacy and Math during the summer months. The program provides a half-day summer experience that includes experiential learning opportunities in-house field trips and meaningful connections with positive engaging adults. Camp SOL is tentatively planned to operate at four sites: Linton Elementary School Olander Elementary School Putnam Elementary School and Riffenburgh Elementary School.
Blevins 21st CCLC:Will operate at Blevins Middle School. This summer program is a summer transition program designed specifically for incoming 6th grade students at Blevins. Incoming 6th graders will be able to take part in project based learning and academic enrichments while becoming comfortable and confident on Blevins campus.
Pay Range: $22/hour
Camp SOL Schedule (hours per day/work calendar days):6 hours per day 16 days.
- Camp SOLwill operate Monday through Thursday from June 1 through June 25.
- Camp SOL Tutors will be scheduled to work 6 hours per day with exact hours determined by site placement.
- This position also includes 12 hours of required training prior to the program start date. Staff training sessions will be held in the evenings throughout the month of May.
Blevins 21stCCLC(hours per day/work calendar days):7 hours per day 8 days.
- Blevins 21st CCLC summer program will operate Monday - Thursday from July 27 - August 6.
- Blevins 21st CCLC Tutors willbe scheduled to work 7 hours a day with exact hours determined at a later date.
- This position also includes 7 hours of required training prior to the program start staff training session will be heldduring the dayduring the month of July.
Duration of position:Summer only
Benefits include:PERA retirement
