Job Summary

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canadas only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility Westridge Marine Terminal with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As a federal Crown corporation Trans Mountain continues to build on more than 70 years of experience delivering operational and safety excellence through our crude oil pipeline system.

With our expanded pipeline system now in place Trans Mountain provides enhanced direct access for Canadian crude oil to world markets. The expansion realizes a world-class system for oil transport developed to Canadas high standards within one of the most stringent regulatory regimes in the world creating long-term economic benefits enhanced marine protection enhanced safety and emergency management capabilities and enhanced skilled-worker capacity building in communities and Indigenous groups.

Trans Mountain is seeking a collaborative motivated and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team as a Senior Organizational Change Management (OCM) Business this position you will lead complex high-impact change initiatives and acts as a strategic advisor to leaders and project teams. The successful candidate will focus on how changes in technology processes and roles affect people ensuring employees are prepared supported and able to adopt new ways of working. Leveraging your deep expertise in change management you will drive readiness enable sustained adoption and help projects achieve their intended business outcomes.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a high degree of independence and while it has no direct reports you will partner closely with the OCM Team Lead and model bestpractice change leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle change management for medium and large-scale initiatives using a structured methodology to support successful adoption and long-term results. Provide clear plans and guidance to help people and teams transition effectively.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and project teams offering expert insight on change impacts readiness risks and recommended mitigation strategies. Help leaders make informed decisions that support smooth implementation.
  • Conduct thorough stakeholders impact and readiness assessments to understand how changes affect people processes and roles. Translate findings into practical strategies that guide communication training and engagement efforts.
  • Develop and deliver integrated change plans including communication leadership alignment engagement training and reinforcement activities. Ensure all components work together to prepare and support employees through the change.
  • Identify monitor and address change risks resistance and interdependencies across initiatives. Escalate key issues when needed and provide clear recommendations to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners such as HR IT and Communications to ensure alignment and coordinated delivery of change activities. Build strong relationships to support consistent and effective change execution.
  • Support continuous improvement of OCM tools templates and practices by sharing feedback piloting enhancements and capturing lessons learned. Help strengthen the organizations overall change capability.
  • Track measure and report on change in progress adoption and effectiveness using insights to adjust strategies and guide decision-making. Promote strong leadership behaviors by educating and influencing others across the organization.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources Business Administration Social Sciences or a related discipline.
  • Prosci certification or equivalent change management training required.
  • 810 years of progressive experience in organizational change management or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading complex multistakeholder change initiatives including enterprisewide or crossdepartmental transformations.
  • Strong background supporting technology system or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fastpaced ambiguous environments with overlapping changes and competing priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences and leadership levels.
  • Strong consulting influencing and advisory capabilities with the credibility to constructively guide and challenge leaders.
  • Advanced stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • High degree of autonomy sound judgment and the ability to manage complexity with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities including rootcause identification and continuous improvement thinking.
  • Highly organized adaptable and resilient in the face of change.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across functions and teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build alignment support adoption and act as a change agent at both small and large scales.
  • Commitment to inclusive practices and contributing positively to a collaborative supportive and dynamic workplace culture.

Working Conditions

  • Willingness and ability to travel to field locations as required.
