Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Scheduler to develop monitor and manage comprehensive schedules for largeâscale construction projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate with project managers engineers and field teams to ensure accurate project sequencing timely progress updates and adherence to safety budget and quality standards. This role is essential in driving project efficiency identifying risks and ensuring successful delivery.

Location: Belton TX (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules including activities phases milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and field supervisors to gather schedule inputs and maintain accuracy.
  • Identify critical paths risks delays and opportunities to improve project timelines.
  • Conduct frequent schedule updates to reflect actual progress and changes in project scope.
  • Prepare and distribute schedule reports dashboards and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Analyze resource allocations and perform resource loading within Primavera when needed.
  • Resolve schedule conflicts and proactively address potential project delays.
  • Support the estimating department by incorporating timelines into bid submissions.
  • Assist with scheduleârelated construction claims impacts and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications industry standards and safety requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert scheduling insights.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement industry best practices leveraging lessons learned.

Qualification Standards

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven experience in scheduling for heavy civil construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes methods and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings plans and specifications.
  • Excellent analytical organizational and problemâsolving skills.
  • Experience with schedule updating reporting and resource loading.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Must meet postâoffer screening requirements (drug/alcohol test physical evaluation etc.).
