DescriptionAssociate Supporting the Wealth Advisory Team and Clients of the Private Bank
International Wealth Advisory is an expert group within the JPMorgan Private Bank. Within Asia the Wealth Advisory team also act as a key member of the team together with Bankers Investors and Lending Advisors to understand a clients wealth planning goals and share their experience and insights on these topics. Wealth Advisors do not provide formal tax or legal advice nor do they charge advisory fees. Wealth Advisors interface with the clients own independent tax or legal advisors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive inventories of existing trust structures and manage team records repositories and templates for the Wealth Advisory function.
- Prepare clientready presentations and marketing materials for Wealth Advisors including versions in Chinese where required.
- Track caseloads and performance metrics; deliver regular pipeline and activity reports in alignment with control and compliance requirements.
- Support Wealth Advisorled client and prospect events with logistics materials and crossfunctional stakeholder coordination.
- Serve as the primary liaison with International Trust Services (ITS) for new trust onboarding including approval memos and client execution documents (e.g. LOD Trust Agreement) in line with policy.
- maintain regular touchpoints with Wealth Advisors on complex or nonstandard matters.
- Support restructurings and periodic trust reviews for ITSadministered structures; coordinate followups with fiduciary officers external counsel and service providers and contribute to Wealth Advisory/ITS projects with tracking and presentation support.
- Apply working knowledge of trust and company administration to address advisor queries on internal policies procedures and planning matters; provide daytoday support to Wealth Advisors bankers servicing specialists and analysts while ensuring adherence to internal frameworks and controls.
Required Qualifications Skills and Capabilities:
At least5 years of experience in a similar role in a private bank or trust company or in a law firm
Prior working experience as Paralegal trust administration trust officer trust administrator or accountant will be an added advantage
General understanding of wealth planning and advisory matters for individuals and families
Proficiency in MS Office Applications; adaptive to new systems and technologies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment
Keen interest to learn and grow in the role with the Wealth Advisors in the team
