82157 - EHV Field Engineer
This EHV Field Engineer will report to the Lead Field Engineer and will work within Network Operations based in our locations in SPN (Distributed Working) Fishersgate - Covering our Surrey and Sussex sites. You will be a permanent employee.
You will attract a salary of 65241 - 80574 and a bonus of 3%

Job Purpose:
To work as part of a team to deliver the33kV and 132kV Primary and Grid Inspection & Maintenance programme within the South East geographical areas. This includes liaison with customers network operations and control networks planning and supervision of field staff and management of contractors.
Principle Accountabilities:
The post holder will be required to participate in an agreed standby arrangement as per the contractual standby requirements for responding to safety/emergency network incidents in accordance with the 2012 PMSNF Standby Agreement.

An EHV Field Engineer will be capable of planning and delivering work on plant (including GIS) underground cables and/or overhead lines up to and including 132 kV including the preparation & execution of switching schedules and the issuing of safety documents to others. (Employees who only hold a SAP Manage competency for Plant Maintenance will not be deemed as a Full SAP).

If you do not have all relevant competencies for the core grade it will be appropriate to appoint at a lower grade until they have developed the required competencies.
