What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees contractors carriers and visitors by carrying out security-related access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial location.
- Control entry and exit at designated access points by verifying identification confirming authorization issuing visitor credentials and directing traffic flow in accordance with post orders.
- Monitor and/or respond to alarms access control notifications and reported incidents; document security-related activity and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings production-adjacent areas parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access identify security-related concerns and report findings per site procedures.
- Operate security-related systems such as badge readers visitor management tools radios and CCTV; complete shift logs and incident reports and communicate key updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
