Job Summary

This position will provide technical leadership to a team of 10 other technicians and business support personnel. Will be responsible for leading the team to meeting Customer specified Metrics through a thorough understanding of customer requirements internal quality policies and ISO documents.

Roles and Responsibilities

• The Selected Candidate will be responsible for

• Providing technical leadership to other technicians in the Metrology Lab.

• Performing Quality Assurance review of other technicians Work Orders for correctness to Quality Policies and Calibration Procedures.

• Creating Reviewing for technical Correctness of written and automated Calibration procedures.

• Help with Internal external and customer audits.

• Ensuring that In service checks and inspections are performed on Laboratory Standards in accordance with Internal written procedures and ISO- 17027:2017 requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• 7 yrs. of relevant technical experience.

• US Citizenship required.

• A diverse background in electrical knowledge.

• Military Metrology schooling or 2 yr. associate in applied science in Electronic/Electrical theory.

• For compliance and audit reasons candidates selected for a role must have ALL basic qualifications listed.

• Experience with MetTeam/MetCal software and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read drawings and blueprints.

• Ability to work with Customer engineering and management to resolve issues with calibration procedures.

• Familiar with INDYSOFT Calibration Database.

• Be able to work in a fast paced challenging work environment to meet customers expectations.

• Possess basic knowledge of ISO 9001 ISO 17025:2017.
