Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW: MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers including component modules (chassis cockpit and front-end module) core system eco-friendly and DAS-mechatronics. Mobis delivers the design and development of advanced engineering autonomous driving infotainment component modules safety brake and steering systems lamp ICS/electronics and software development solutions that consider the safety and convenience of our customers as well as the future.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND SKILLS: Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop standalone applications in support of ongoing Advanced Development project.
  • Support vehicle testing.
  • Support data analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with internal engineering team.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRED SKILLS/ REQUIRMENTS:

  • Experience with programming in languages such as Java C Python or Matlab.
  • Competent mathematics skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERED EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS:

  • Participation in Autonomous Driving or Robotics teams.
  • Experience in the ADAS/ADS space.
  • Familiarity with Version control software(such as git or subversion).

In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.

  • Be a team player.
  • Have great attention to detail.
  • Be reliable (with reliable mode of transportation).

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Enrolled in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering or similar program.
  • In good academic standing.
  • Minimum GPA 2.8.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Position requires occasional or frequent moderate physical activity.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

  • A typical work week is 40 hours/week.
  • Working hours for employees are flexible with a typical day starting 7am- 9am M-F.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee toany hazardous or unpleasant elements.
  • Stress may occur periodically.

TRAVEL:

  • No travel.
