One of our clients needs a Construction QC Inspector in Laurel MD for a long-term contract position.

Title: Construction QC Inspector
Location: Laurel MD
Position Type: Onsite
Clearance: Secret.

Responsibilities:

The QC Inspector will ensure the contractor implements an effective quality control (QC) program and uses the provisions daily to control the quality of the work.
Review contract deliverables and submittals for conformance and perform daily inspections to verify all work is in strict compliance with the contract and request correction of any deficiencies.
Develop a construction QA plan for each project including inspection testing and reporting procedures as well as plans for monitoring corrective actions taken by contractors.
Prepare daily written QA reports recording all discussion with contractor QC staff as well as deficiencies.
QA reports should be completed and submitted within 48 hours.
Participate in the pre-construction meetings for each construction work item requiring such by the QA plan.
Monitor QC inspection and testing activities performed by the contractor. May include working some nights and weekends as the project schedule dictates

Required Skills:

Four-year degree in construction management engineering or related field.
Minimum of 10 years construction management and/or craft supervision experience commercial or Government construction projects.
