Where Youll Make a Difference

  • Develop new food ingredient products based on commercial specifications.
  • Work closely with R&D to identify market trends consumer needs and product specifications.
  • Monitor the product development process from concept to manufacturing and distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing sales operations) to ensure successful product launches.
  • Analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead technical projects from experimental design to completion including testing and analytical procedures.
  • Prepare standards and product materials under minimal supervision.
  • Participate in customer visits answer technical questions and conduct seminars/presentations.
  • Provide technical services such as plant trials troubleshooting and training; travel up to 30% required.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial food pharmaceutical ingredients or flavor industry.
  • At least 1 year of experience in beverage applications.
  • BS in Food Science Chemistry Biochemistry or related disciplines.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage projects and work independently in a laboratory/pilot plant environment.
  • Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and handling hazardous materials.

How Would You Stand Out

  • Masters degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety raw materials food regulations sanitation and production processes.
  • Demonstrated discriminative organoleptic skills.
