Sr EHR Clin Applic Analyst ClinDocJob Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION: EHR Application Analysts are the primary support for the assigned non-clinical application(s). They must be very knowledgeable about the organizations policies procedures and business operations and coordinate all issues that arise during installation maintenance trouble-shooting and upgrading for their application area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serves as application expert for troubleshooting and advanced features/ considerations
- Mentors and assures quality of work for Analysts 1/ 2
- Partners with other application teams to drive system integration and efficiencies
- Performs in-depth analysis of workflows data collection report details and other technical issues associated with application software and prepares details of specifications as needed
- Assists in evaluation of operational needs; validates workflows build and configuration based on application requirements/ standards and serves as liaison between end users third parties and application staff
Interacts with co-workers visitors and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.

- Understanding the choices involved in application configuration
- Developing / documenting procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks
- Serving as a liaison between end users third parties and vendors
- Troubleshooting problems and questions from end users
- Analysis of application content and negotiation of any user requested modifications
- Preparing details of specifications as needed
EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree Masters degree preferred in IT/ Informatics field
CERTIFICATES LICENSES AND REGISTRATION:
Multiple relevant application certification(s) required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
4 years working experience in healthcare information systems or healthcare IT
