This role is a Full-Time role as a Lead Auditor working within the Retail & Hospitality Sector of LRQA.

You must live in Spain and be bilingual in Spanish and English - It is indicated as Madrid but can be living in other locations as this is a home based position.

This role is primarily supporting the Retail & Hospitality Division delivering and undertaking unaccredited audits to Retail & Hospitality own brand standards across Spain and supporting an audit team delivering to clients in Spain.

You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.
Through providing effective management your responsibilities will include:
Providing professional support to the Business Support Specialists in Edinburgh.
Completing environmental audits (food safety health and safety and fire safety audits) in accordance with legal and client driven requirements.
To be fully utilised throughout the year and cost efficient.
To complete audit reports immediately after audit and at the latest 48 hours after site visit but as agreed with the client SLA.
To keep colleagues appraised of industry developments.
Strategic Management support for Clients as required.
Review of documents including FSMS H&S & Training Policies.
Shadow and Witness Audits of Auditors where technical support is given.
To maintain CPD and take on additional training as required.
Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business.

Essential criteria:

Have a degree in the relevant science
Have Level 4 Food Safety and Health & Safety Qualifications
Have 3 years experience in the Food Safety sector.
Have a Lead Auditor Qualification specific to ISO22K or ISO45K (But we can train in this)
