Job Summary

The Director PMO Treasury Systems & Transformation is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing establishing and leading a professional Project Management Office that underpins the successful delivery of enterpriselevel programs supporting Treasury Operations. As part of the Treasury Systems & Transformation team this role will oversee a diverse portfolio of largescale modernization systems and processtransformation initiatives ensuring they are executed with discipline transparency and a focus on measurable business outcomes.

This leader will build and mature PMO capabilities develop project management best practices coach and mentor project managers and proactively influence senior stakeholders across Treasury Technology Operations and Risk. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to Treasury leadership driving alignment accountability and continuous improvement.

Position Responsibilities:

PMO Strategy & Design

  • Design and implement a scalable modern PMO framework to support Treasury Operations strategic roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain PMO policies templates tools and project methodologies (e.g. waterfall agile hybrid) tailored to business needs.
  • Drive a culture of project excellence datadriven decisionmaking and proactive risk mitigation.

Portfolio Leadership & Reporting

  • Oversee a portfolio of enterpriselevel projects ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational KPIs.
  • Lead endtoend program delivery including scope schedule cost risk resourcing and change management.
  • Monitor and control project progress and provide regular reports on portfolio health including time cost scope and benefits.
  • Define and manage high quality regular executive reporting to enable clear understanding of portfolio status and enable informed decisions.
    Manage book of work planning and enable leadership in prioritizing the highestvalue initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Partner closely with senior leaders across Treasury GFT and other functions to ensure alignment transparency and timely execution.
  • Act as a strategic advisor on program risks interdependencies and organizational readiness.
  • Develop communication strategies to support change adoption and organizational engagement.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead coach and develop a team of project managers.
  • Build capability across the team through mentoring and training
  • Promote collaboration empowerment and accountability across project teams.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence

  • Introduce best practices in project delivery including resource management benefits realization and risk management.
  • Manage the risk issue and change resolution process and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed.
  • Regularly assess PMO performance and lead improvements in tools processes and metrics.
  • Evaluate emerging project management technologies methodologies and automation opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business Finance Operations or related field
  • PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive project and program management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record managing large crossfunctional enterpriselevel programs in financial services or a complex operational environment.
  • Experience in establishing a PMO in a transformational context is a significant asset.
  • Strong understanding of Treasury Operations financial systems (preferred).

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to prepare executivelevel materials.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex initiatives.
  • Deep knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies and tools.

Salary range is expected to be between

$125100.00 CAD - $175100.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge skills qualifications experience and education/training.
