Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3000 talented individuals working in India Romania and Philippines in partnership with Arcadis offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. You will join our Urban Development Team in Arcadis Iasi or Bucharest office we are conducting advising designing and coordinating the implementation of solutions in construction and development of residential and industrial areas redevelopment of infrastructure and improvement and renewal of the built environment. We make use of the latest digital innovations and collaborate internationally with our colleagues to ensure a sustainable future in urban development.

Role Accountabilities

• Design works for various water projects: 2D and/or 3D design of technical plans for residential or industrial areas.
• Inspections at the Project site.
• Design of cross sections and longitudinal sections based on a technical plan.
• Quantitative Analysis and Measurement Solutions.
• Develop and implement new digital solution on urban development projects.
• Gaining a good understanding of the background of Belgium and Netherlands and other countries standards regarding urban design.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree and/ Masters degree in Civil Engineering Roads Design Engineering Water engineering or Landscape Design.
• Prepare review and update urban design plans civil engineering works for various types of projects.
• Strong English language.
• Great interpersonal skills (team player eager to learn supportive attitude etc.).
• Availability to work for some periods abroad if the case.
• Experience with technical software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience in Urban and/or Road Design
