Description

The Agronomy Yard Attendant supports daily agronomy operations by maintaining fertilizer equipment and facilities loading and unloading products and providing excellent customer service. This role helps ensure a safe clean and efficient work environment while supporting team operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Load and unload dry fertilizer trucks safely and accurately.
Operate and maintain fertilizer equipment including dry spreaders and NH3 tanks.
Fill NH3 tanks and maintain accurate inventory and maintenance records.
Transport products and materials as needed.
Keep fertilizer buildings yard and shop areas clean and organized.
Assist with basic equipment repairs and tire work as needed.
Provide prompt professional customer service.
Follow all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License) preferred or ability to obtain one within a designated timeframe.
Company will assist with CDL training and/or reimbursement for qualified candidates.
Agricultural or mechanical experience preferred.
Basic computer and math skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in outdoor environments.
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
