Job Summary
Applications are welcome from all marketing areas. Ideal candidates will have established a strong reputation in the field that includes publishing regularly in the most prestigious marketing journals (JM JMR JCR MS) while also demonstrating excellence in teaching with the ability to contribute at both undergraduate and graduate levels including doctoral student supervision. This is a full-time 9-month tenured position. Successful candidates will have a record worthy of tenure at an AAU institution.
The School of Marketing and Innovation at USFs Muma College of Business offers cutting-edge undergraduate graduate and continuing education programs across three campuses in Marketing Sales Supply Chain Management and Advertising including a PhD concentration in Marketing. The schools Center for Marketing and Sales Innovation leverages a state-of-the-art biometric-equipped Customer Experience and Artificial Intelligence Lab and it also hosts one of the largest intercollegiate sales competitions in the world. The undergraduate AMA chapter has ranked as high as #4 among over 300 collegiate chapters. The School of Marketing & Innovations Practice Center connects interested students with paid short-term projects at local businesses.
The Muma College of Business operates in an exciting vibrant and innovative environment and is well-integrated into the Tampa Bay region business ecosystem. Over the past several years USF received over $70 million from key donors to name the Muma College of Business the Lynn Pippenger School of Accountancy the Monica Wooden Center for Supply Chain Management and Sustainability the Nault Center for Entrepreneurship Baldwin Group School of Risk Management & Insurance Vinik Sport & Entertainment Management Program and the Bellini Center for Talent Development. The college is home to a successful DBA program targeting C-suite executives. USFs Executive MBA program ranks #10 in the U.S. and its online MBA program is ranked among the nations top 20. Plans are underway for a brand-new state-of-the-art business college building and complex.

The home campus for this position is in Tampa although faculty may be asked to teach on any campus.

Responsibilities
Tenure-track faculty positions are responsible for teaching research service and related administrative activities. Responsibilities also include academic advising and representing the university college/school or department/unit on university and/or statewide committees.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A PhD in Business with specialization in marketing from an AACSB (or international equivalent) accredited institution or a PhD in other related disciplines before the start of employment
- Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Associate or Full Professor
- Must have a record worthy of being granted tenure at USF
Primary Considerations:
- Publishing record and research pipeline.
- Evidence of continuing ability to publish in the top (UTD) journals in marketing.
- Overall quality of the candidate as indicated by letters of reference and personal contacts.
- Reputation of the institution granting the candidates degree.
- Reputation of the institution(s) where the candidate might have been employed previously.
