Security Officer Airport Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Airport Patrol Driver in Birmingham AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine patrols and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support store teams and shoppers with strong customer service clear communication and timely reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers team members and/or visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors entrances parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor and control access points as assigned observe for suspicious behavior and document observations and actions taken according to site requirements.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports communicate with site representatives and Allied Universal supervision and assist with emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
