How Will You Make an Impact:
Join our collaborative team as a Lead Packaging/Labeling Technician at Thermo Fisher Scientific where youll manage pharmaceutical packaging operations while contributing to global healthcare. Youll provide leadership for packaging operations ensuring compliance with GMP standards while coordinating teams to deliver high-quality products that support healthcare this role youll manage room operations support team members and implement continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Shift hours are 6am-6pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

A Day in the Life:

  • Strong knowledge of cGMP SOPs and quality systems

  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

  • Proficiency with computers and manufacturing systems (SAP etc.)

  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations measurements and reconciliation

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Science engineering or related technical field

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing preferably in pharmaceutical or regulated industry four (4) years preferred.

  • Leadership experience preferred with ability to train mentor and guide team members

  • Equivalent combinations of education training and relevant work experience may be considered.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods lift up to 50 lbs regularly

  • Ability to work in various environments including clean rooms cold rooms (-20C to 8C)

  • Vision requirements: 20/20 corrected vision color vision discrimination

  • Ability to work overtime and various shifts as needed

  • Experience with automated inspection equipment preferred

  • Ability to wear required PPE including respirators safety glasses clean room garments

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
