This position reports to:

MONM Operations Controller

Your role and responsibilities:

Act as a business partner to the plant manager to develop a business model and optimize financial performance. Support business decisions by monitoring analyzing and interpreting financial data including forecasts and budgets to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend the most appropriate business solutions. Act as the key contact to drive a profitability culture with the primary focus not only on cost of goods produced but also on cost of goods sold.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Lead financial operations and reporting ensuring accurate period closings daily/weekly/monthly reporting internal audit support and strong oversight of inventory cycle counts and general business processes.
  • Drive planning and forecasting including the annual operating plan burden studies standard cost development and robust scenario-based financial forecasting with an emphasis on a 5quarter rolling outlook.
  • Optimize cost structure and profitability conducting variance analysis managing product cost improvement initiatives supporting overhead reduction projects and providing capital investment and asset management analysis.
  • Partner with and develop plant teams mentoring staff on financial principles (standard costing burden recovery profitability) collaborating with plant leadership and managing plant cost center budgets and other finance responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field with minimum 10 years experience.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with demonstrated financial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven leadership and selfstarter capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word Outlook PowerPoint and advanced Excel ERP systems
  • Preferred Experience Includes: Masters Degree 5 years of finance or accounting experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with Labor & Efficiency Variances SAP Workday
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
