This is not a standard pub management role it is a position within a serious quality-driven operation where standards are high expectations are clear and personality matters.
The Role
As Assistant Manager you will play a pivotal role in the daily leadership of the restaurant working closely with senior management to deliver exceptional service across all areas of the business.
You will:
Lead and inspire the front-of-house team during busy high-volume services
Ensure seamless guest journeys from arrival to departure
Drive service standards energy and professionalism on the floor
Support recruitment training and team development
Assist in rota planning cost control and stock management
Handle guest feedback confidently and professionally
Support the delivery of private dining events and promotional activity
This role requires presence pace and confidence someone who thrives in a vibrant ambitious environment.
About You
Proven experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role within quality hospitality
Strong leadership and people-management skills
Excellent product knowledge particularly food and wine
Calm under pressure and able to lead from the front
Commercially aware with understanding of budgets and labour control
Passionate about delivering memorable energetic service
Experience in a high-volume award-winning restaurant environment would be advantageous.
