Job Description Summary

The Department of Radiology at Jefferson Health / Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is seeking a Musculoskeletal fellowship-trained Radiologist to join one of the largest and most academically distinguished MSK radiology groups in the United States.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Interpretation of diagnostic radiography CT MRI and ultrasound
• Performance of ultrasound- CT- and fluoroscopy-guided MSK procedures
• High-volume MSK imaging including:
  • 120 MSK MRI joint studies daily many involving sports-related injuries
  • 40 diagnostic MSK ultrasound studies daily frequently paired with image-guided procedures
• Image-guided interventions including:
  • Steroid and PRP injections
  • Tenotomy
  • Calcific tendinosis barbotage
  • Flexor retinaculum release for carpal tunnel syndrome

Sports & Specialty Imaging

• Imaging and image-guided intervention services for major professional sports teams including:
  • Coverage at the NFL Combine and MLB Spring Training
• Support for collegiate and high-school athletic programs and the Pennsylvania Ballet
• Imaging for a nationally elite institute specializing in core muscle (sports hernia) and hip injuries treating professional athletes worldwide
• Ongoing research collaboration with the U.S. Olympic Team
