Job Summary
Agitator Drivers Bundaberg
Full-time permanent role $35.03ph plus penalties and super.
Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products becoming the face of our business. As a Driver you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day operating the batch plant and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different; theres nothing routine about this role!
About the role:
- Rates: $35.03ph plus penalties (rate X 1.5 after 8 hours rate X 2.0 after 10 hours).
- You will be based at Bundaberg Concrete Plant.
- Most days will start at 4am-3pm and drivers can do up to and over 10 hours per day and around 50 55 hours per week.
- As we mentioned driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you havent met before
- We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
- All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose byyourself.
About you:
- Minimum of HR license (essential) with previous driving experience (preferred)
- You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when youre onsite
- You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when youre driving one of our Agi trucks
- FEL/Forklift experience would be highly regarded
- You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials sites)
