The Role
Our client a specialist in the fabrication and welding of pressure pipes pressure vessels and structural steelwork is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an immediate start based in South will be working within a workshop environment completing high-quality pressure welding to industry standards interpreting technical drawings and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or 1st Class Welder
- Proven experience in pressure pipe and pressure vessel welding
- Ability to weld in all positions (including ASME Section IX 6G)
- Experience with STT (Surface Tension Transfer) welding
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and P&ID
- Experience working with manufacturing jigs
- Successful completion of weld tests
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol screening
- HRWL Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Unlimited Australian working rights
