Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on lab work in the preparation and testing of solvent and waterborne formulations and gels based on existing starting formulas.
• Evaluate the quality and application performance of new product candidates as part of the new product development process.
• Investigate troublesome production lots for quality and performance of existing products.
• Participate as needed in developing performance data of products to assist sales and marketing efforts.
• Modernize older test formulas with more current raw materials.
• Maintaining a record of all lab project work (lab notebook compile MS Word completion project reports summarizing lab results monthly reports).
• Maintaining a safe working environment in the lab and attending safety training sessions.
• Running assigned projects and communicating results to the supervisor.
• Maintaining lab equipment replace consumables and chemicals. As needed monitor test methods specifications and processes to ensure compliance and applicability.
• Supporting the site activities including shipping of hazardous goods training to be provided
• Ensure that project status and needs are communicated with the supervisor.
