Role Overview

The role focuses onproduction support system reliability observability automation and peak event readinessacross complex distributed platforms including OMS Java-based applications.

The candidate will work closely with business engineering infrastructure and external partners to ensurehigh availability performance and operational excellence especially during high-traffic sale events.

Key Responsibilities (Support Role):

Production Support & Reliability

Resolveproduction incidentswithin defined SLAs ensuring minimal business impact.
ProvideL2/L3 supportfor OMS and integrated systems.
SupportBAU operations and major sale eventswith proactive monitoring and rapid issue resolution.

Observability & Monitoring

Design create and continuously improvealerts and dashboardsfor end-to-end system visibility.
Analyze logs metrics and traces to identify root causes and prevent recurring issues.

Automation & Utilities

Automate manual operational tasks toreduce toil and speed up incident resolution.
Build utilities and scripts to support BAU needs such as:
- Order creation using curl/JMeter scripts
- Order status and fulfillment updates
- Transaction log (TLOG) validation
- End-to-end system and data validation

System Optimization

Performinfrastructure and application-level optimizationsto improve performance stability and scalability.

Required Capabilities & Skills:

Technical Skills

Strongdebugging skillsacross Java Spring Boot IBM Sterling OMS and integrated external systems (e.g. Yantriks Listrak payment gateways).
Hands-on experience withSQL (DB2 MySQL)andNoSQL databases (Firestore BigQuery).
Proficiency inJava Python and shell scriptingfor utilities and automation.
Experience withmonitoring and observability tools(Splunk Dynatrace SolarWinds Grafana).

Analytical & Problem-Solving

Strong analytical skills toidentify root causes across distributed systemsand multiple environments.
Ability to troubleshoot complex end-to-end business and technical issues.

Domain Knowledge

Good understanding ofRetail domain especiallysupply chain order management and fulfillment workflows.
